Hi all ... toc, toc, anyone here?

I begin now with research for a Skandinavia-trip in summer: Hamburg-Kobehavn-Göteborg-Oslo-Bergen-Trondheim-Nordkapp-Helsinki-Oulu-Umeà-Stockholm-Kobenhavn-Hamburg! This trip becomes fantastic,I can feel it! Can't wait to see the Midnight Sun at the northernmost point of Europe: 'Nordkapp'!

That sounds like a fantastic summer vacation! I'm supposed to be going to New Zealand for 12 weeks this summer, not sure if it's going to happen or not though. Things are a bit up in the air right now

Whoa, 12 weeks! This is really a long time! I hope you can do this trip! Sounds fantastic too! New Zealand has a wonderful nature as you could see in LOTR. In reality LOTR was a huge presentation movie for New Zealand .

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to flying for that long, but the vacation should be worth it. It's actually a trip for school, the anthropology department is heading it

How long will you have to be in a plane?

I think the most stress is during Check-IN and Check-Out. I had no problems with the long flight but a good book is not replaceable during the time on board.
I flew the 6000miles to LA in 11h. From Philly to Auckland it must be approximately 8700miles so I think you can count on 14-15h.

Anthropology? Sounds interesting! Hmm, So you study the life and development from the natives there? Half school and half vacation?

Yeah, the flight I was told will be about 16 hours total. But we're spending a week in LA first, then a three day layover in Hawaii which will be incredibly, I've always wanted to see the islands

And yep, it's pretty much a working vacation. It's like work study I would say, studying the archeology and surroundings in Auckland, and then going to the mountains and working there. All sorts of stuff

Now I'm really impressed Cas! Are you study anthropology and archeology?

Working vacation, but It sounds that you have fun with that kind of work. 'All sorts of stuff', you make me curious!

LA, Hawai and New Zealand! Whoa great journey! Shopping at Santa Monica 3rd street, surfin in Hawai and working in the mountains of New Zealand. Sounds good!

I'm a History major, but I've been taking alot of anthro and archeo courses the last year or so. It's just so fascinating that I can't seem to help myself.

I was watching my Roswell DVDs and during the Pilot commentary, they mentioned that Carly tested for the role of Liz and actually was about to get the role, but then they felt like Shiri was better and immediatly they picked Carly up for "Popular". I thought that was sorta kewl. Apparently alot of the Popular cast tested for Roswell too, they didn't mention names beyond Carly, but it's kewl.

I haven't gotten the Roswell DVD's yet. Sounds like there's some pretty good stuff on it though.

I can imagine Leslie testing for Isabel for some reason

Ok Cas, Now I'm a little bit envious. I think an archeo trip would be interesting for me too. Wasn't Giles an History major too?

Hi Nikki

I think the combination Carly and Popular was the right decision.

I'm not sure what Giles was to tell you the truth

But yeah, it's really very intriguing stuff. If you ever have the chance, I'd definitely suggest at least taking a course in the field.

If I had the chance, the time, and the money I think I would study my whole live. Archeology, chemistry, geography, history, quantum physics... But I'm only an electrician for now. Not a bad job but also not the end of my dreams.

Hi Lindsay

Nice that you heeeere!
