Dream Roles!?! What character would you like to see Carly as?
the title basically asks my question. of all the characters in the shows on tv..what would you like to see Carly play?
I actually would like to see Carly do something really dramatic. I cant think of a particular character at the moment but a character who overcomes something tremendous. i think shed do excellent with that type of role. your ideas?? [ 11-02-2002: Message edited cpcomwebmaster ] |

Can't think of any particular character, but I'm with you all the way on your idea in the second paragraph, particularly if she does that on the big screen. I'd also love to see her do the main part in a big screen drama. Carly's done spectacular work, but, despite that, I can't help feeling that she hasn't really had the chance to truly demonstrate her talent to the fullest degree. What's yet to come is even better than what we've yet seen. Great parts on the big screen will bring that talent out.

I think that Carly would do an excellent performance playing the Katie Holmes's character on "Dawson's Creek", Joey.

On Popular, it's easy to see the talent of Carly on dramatic roles.
For example: On the episode "Queen B" (first season, the choice of the homecoming queen), when Sam goes to his dad's tomb, talking to him that she miss he a lot, Carly really touchs the public! Other emotional scene on Popular: On "Ur-ine Troble", when Sam discovers the Harrison's Leukemia and she starts crying, the audience thrill together... i agree with everything that you say but i think that Carly would get bored of the "joey character". I dont believe its challenging enough. i think Katie probably feels that way as well especially after doing it for so long.

"Joey" could be a very-easy role... I was just thinkin' about a dramatic role for Carly, and the character of Joey came to my memory... I'm glad you understood my English, I live in Brazil... [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] __________________

Carly only had a secondary role in Orange County, but she was marvellous in it. Played it as wild parody, with a mischievous sense of humor. You could kinda see here smirking at the camera out of the corner of her eyes.
