It would be a great cliffhanger to have him back in S2 for what's to come in S3.

Plus I like villains so they have time to shine if they just concentrate on one.

Yeap.
Speaking of Villains, I've seen lots of people saying Kilgrave is way better than the Kingpin, and I'm halfway through Jessica Jones thinking WHERE? Nope, not a chance. Maybe it's David Tennant's charisma that's blinding people, but Kilgrave is downright annoying and pretty much a caricature. In the matter of best villain, Fisk takes the prize. His ill intent speech alone is better than all of Kilgrave's scenes I've seen so far. __________________

Kilgrave is a bully and he deserves any insult Jessica throws at him. He's terrifying and a spoiled bastard, but no best villain material, I agree much of the appreciation he gets goes back to Tennant's fantastic performance. I love Fisk (as far as one can love a villain) because he's not your typical moustache-twirling villain, he's layered. He actually firmly believes he's the good guy. There's something very "Italian mafioso" about him.
