I agree.

It also has a lot to do with Vincent's flawless portrayal as well, he's done amazing.

EW ranked Fisk as their #3 best superhero TV villain.

I don't watch The Flash but I think Fisk deserves the #1 spot. I'd definitely switch his position with Killgrave's because Fisk has literally just his badassery to count on with, no super powers. He rules Hell's Kitchen by his own merit.

One of my favorite scenes on the show.

At the back of my head, I was thinking that Fisk was gonna kill Ben but I was hopeful that maybe he'd let him live. But if he lets him go, that's not really how Fisk operates so once Fisk figured out who visited his mother, Ben was at risk.

Yeah, I agree.

I hated that they killed Ben, though.

I really thought - more like blindly hoped - he would let Ben live.

I guess that's the amazing thing about Fisk though, he's the type of villain that really keeps you on your toes, wondering what he'll do next.

Yeah, I also thought Fisk was going to let him live.

Deep down I always had this sort of wishful thinking that Fisk would only scare Ben because he's inherently not a killer buy a decent person in his twisted way. But at the same time it seemed pretty clear that Ben's hour had come. I always get suspicious when a character enters an empty house and the camera never leaves him

I think I was deeply in denial about it.

I just read that EW top 10 and I think it's pretty spot on: what makes Fisk terrifying is the fact that he's empathetic. Good call there. It's pretty creepy when you have the big bad and you think you understand him.

Yeah, he gives you nuances.

And then you end up dead.

You don't get to the enjoy the nuances for long.
