I got two books from my friend, four DVDs from my mum and dad and a box of chocolates from my line manager at work.

I've already started reading one of the books.

For me, I'm too old to have presents from my parents, but at least I reward myself since I seriously need new jacket and boots even tho I got some books.. Instead I brought for my brother's kids..

I bought gift cards for some of my close/immediate relatives. I got a home theatre/sound system from my cousin and her husband as a housewarming gift. Parents paid for the vacation we went on together. That's how our Christmases are. Low key. Also got my mom an electric jar opener (almost forgot, ha).

I understand. My parents don't buy each other gifts.

The gift cards are the best since half of people I know, I never know what they want.. I was like thank god for gift card..

Unless someone gives me a list or an idea what they want then I'd have to go with gift cards as well.

I'd hate to get something they already had.
