Seriously? She was Michael's first wife (and sixth, LOL). Michael got married at least seven times: twice to Jane, once to Sydney, twice to Kimberly, once to Megan and once to Vanessa. Who knows? Maybe he had an additional wife between Megan and Vanessa... He did propose to Lexi on the series finale of the original series, but she turned him down.

Anyway, Jane was such a victim on the original series, I'm glad she got tougher during the missing years. Possible plothole alert: when the original series ended, Jane was pregnant with Michael's baby but passing it off as Kyle's. This was due to Josie's real life pregnancy with her first child by then husband Rob Estes (who played Kyle) starting to show. However, no mention of whatever happened to that kid was made in episode 4. I'm guessing they're either avoiding the subject entirely since Rob now plays a completely different character on 90210 or they're waiting for the first Jane/Michael scene to explain it.

I was glad to have her back, and I was a bit surprised to see her as bitchy as she was aswell but I liked it. Cant go through living in MP that long and not learn a thing or two. I hope we get a scene with her and some of the other originals. Would be great if they did a Jane/Sydney flashback.

I think a Jane/Sydney flashback is bound to happen at some point, if only to let us know if Jane was in on the "faked death" thing or not. When Jane left L.A. mid-way through Season 5, she and Sydney had finally called a truce after Jane found out she had been adopted as a child and reunited with her biological mother (played by Donna Mills, whose star turn as Abby on Knots Landing during the eighties has often been cited as a source of inspiration for the character of Amanda on Melrose Place). If it turns out Jane did not know about the faked death, showing us her face when she found out Sydney was still alive is just too juicy an opportunity to pass up.

I really hope they explain that, they've done so well i don't want them to have plotholes now.
