Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Pete Wentz selling their house, searching for more child-friendly digs

Rocker duo Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz are selling their Beverly Hills mansion, Life & Style reports.

The couple wants a more child-friendly home for Bronx, their 11-month-old son, a source told the magazine.

“The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn’t really have any yard. Now that Bronx is getting older, they realized that really isn’t a child-friendly house.”

“They are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children.”

The 5,896-square-foot home has four floors, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a media room, gym, swimming pool and a two-story guesthouse. Simpson reportedly bought the home in January 2007 for $4.5 million.
