so instead of griping about the GSR thing and how we're tired of being treated rudely by them IIIi came up with a topic (well I stole it from another forum but still)
WHAT movie couple (Or other tv couple) reminds you of Snicker
I already said MONDLER from FRIENDS
as far as Movies go I'd say Sally and Gary from Practical Magic (Sally's childhood messed up her life so she was afraid of dating Gary THERES more to it then that but going into more explaination would give away the plot of the movie) also Sally reminds me alot of Sara and Gary of Nick
another one Will and Elizabeth from Pirates of the carribean
I can see Sara saying she's Sara Stokes to save Nicks Life
and again thier personalities fit
So whats your takes?

I think Chandler/Monica works inasmuch as the whole "friends with romantic chemistry" thing goes...

I kind of like the comparison with the Temperance Brennan/Seely Booth characters from Bones myself. I think the romantic chemistry, the deep caring, the humour... it's all very similar..

In terms of movies... I have no idea!

Movies definetly Like I said Practical Magic JUST because Sally is afraid fo starting a relationship with Gary BECAUSE of her childhood and her Past ,which I see as pretty much what Sara is doing

I love Snickers. I can watch any one of their scenes and feel all warm and toasty inside. Here's hoping S7 won't be a load of crap and we'll see some good things.

My hopes aren't too inflated, though. I'll be looking for signs that it's safe to start watching again.

And guys, did you know we're like the mean gurlz on the board, so to speak? For the record, we didn't start taking things so personally until we started reading things like "Snickers are delusional" and "there's nothing they can do about it so they need to just stop having opinions

MT I agree with you and Honestly i'm sick of being treated unfairly
In quite a few boards I go to now I have GSRS acting immaturely to me they say they arent like the rest of them but If I say I'm not a GSR shipper or they troll a Snicker thread they get my Messenger name and start harrassing me I VENT about it and they start harrasing me
NOW i'm also tired of them saying GS Has been dating for a long time secretly (because thats the lie being fed to them by WP UGH) and its been obvious
HOW to me I SEE Snicker secretly more then GSR
take "time of your Death" for instance THEY claim thats when the secret relationship started because of the smile Sara gives Grissom UH THAT SMILE wasnt anything
and previously in that ep when that guy made that comment of "I hope all your fantasies come true" Grissom looked all giddy and happy SARA looked disgusted even a bit grossed out
I personally can not WAIT for thier precious "canon" ship to die
I prefer it to be a dream but I ALMOST want her to break up with him more BECAUSE atleast that way everyone would know GSR is dead because she broke up with him for someoneelse

Let me echo those sentiments. Any time Sara and Nick are in the same room, whether they're in a "scene" or not, there's just goodness everywhere. You just believe them as people who know each other and are comfortable around one another in the most natural, uncontrived sort of way. They have an easy chemistry that oozes out of every tiny moment where they're talking to each other, about each other or even just standing there...

As for season 7, my hopes aren't very high either. The PTBs are clearly fools.

When did that happen?

Because I'd been under the impression that, aside from being rightfully peeved at the gigantic slap in the face we got from the show as a thanks for our years of appreciation and support, we'd been pretty well-behaved and respectful in terms of our tremendous UNappreciation of that little nugget of an ending.

Is it because we're more threatening to them? I don't go on other threads, so I can't say for sure, but we seem to be the most active non-GSR ship thread... Maybe that's why their anger is focused on us. Because all the non-GSR ships are probably just as pissed as we are, no?

And here I thought we were being so diplomatic and mature with the non-"We're pissed as hell and we're not gonna take it anymore" title and everything....

How does it make us bad to object to being called delusional?

Gah, I probably better get used to not getting it.

See? That's what I mean. Yeah, we'll defend our ship, but we really wouldn't bit anyone's head off, or call them delusional, or imply that they'd be bling or stupid, for disagreeing with us.

For pete's sakes, I'd argue that, up until that little final scene, the show could have been interpreted to support any matter of different ships.

I agree its becacause WE are the most popular ship NOT them they only got thier ship because WP wanted it so they DO see us as a threat they Know that we could very well break up thier beloved couple so in fear of that they attack us
BUT to be fair here its not just GSRs who are nasty to us
I've experienced VERY Nasty GCRs as well and I hate to say it but sometimes THEY are worse

I only say I think we're the most popular ship because EVERYONE i've talked to offline and on either Ship Snicker or ship somethingelse but would be MORE okay with Snicker then they are GSR
Not to mention if you look in all the major mags the Anti GSR agruments most of them are either Grillow or Snicker
