Thanks for posting, I remember when the producers cut that! I have mixed feelings about that scene: On the one hand, it was the longest scene we had gotten with G and C in a WHILE. But on the other, it felt really disconnected from the rest of the series, if that makes sense. Like the way Cath was portrayed in that scene was that she didn't know Grissom as well as we (and Catherine herself) thought she did. I felt like it kind of contradicted a lot of what we had been shown and told of Grissom and Catherine's friendship.

But it was definitely nice to just see them interacting, and to see Catherine so curious and nosy in his house.

I found it hilarious that she is just snooping around his house and he totally knew and didn't care.

It was such a Cath like thing to do, too.

It's cute how nosy she is, especially when it comes to Grissom.

I love that deleted scene.

I think it did good job of showing that Gil and Cath had grown apart, but there was also enough there to remind viewers that they had been closer before (like the way she greets Hank so affectionately). And we all remember Gil making her a screwdriver... sigh.

Probably smart of them to delete the scene; we wouldn't want people remembering how much chemistry and history those two had!

I think I had seen that previously and I agree with all of you I think its a great scene to show how much chemistry they had it was definetly smart of them to delete it

It was a lovely scene between them, Catherine making herself at home

, but it show us that they have grown slightly apart..

We needed more scene with just them two talking about their lives..

I think Catherine is a little more astute then that, but I'm not going to complain too much. I loved the clip.
