I was wondering the same thing. I don't think I saw her in the promo though it could be that she is the B story for all we know.

I hope she's in it, but it just seemed sort of weird for them to mention her leaving to go to SF like this.

Then again it would be really weird if she weren't in the finale. I'm confused

I think my favorite scene of the episode was when Hodges and Henry went to the slaughterhouse together. It was just hilarious and Henry having a reason for everything that Hodges was feeling was just great.
That scene was very hilarious. I thought the episode over all was great, loved how they mentioned Greg's Nana and how she was psychic.

I wonder if something is going to happen to Sara and that the finale will be tied into it.

I heard the finale is going to be epic, so I'm hopeful.

That scene was great. Henry and Hodges (and the labrats in general) are always hilarious. - though I prefer it that they keep them in small doses - Hodges is one of my favourites, but I do think they overdid the screentime they gave him this year. He's not one of the csis!

I thought the thing with sara was curious and I do wonder if it's somehow related to the finale - it just seems packed with so much stuff happening I don't know how they'll fit in another storyline.

The promo made it seem really interesting. I have high hopes it will be a good episode.

Can't wait.

It sounds exciting. Wonder if they plan on ending it on a cliffhanger!

It just seems like there is a LOT going on in the episode for them to resolve in just one hour.

They might leave it with Morgan in danger or something. I just hope it's an enjoyable episode.

What did everyone think about the finale?

Guess we all saw the cliffhanger coming

I thought it was an okay episode, but it didn't really feel like finale material - it was ok, but not a great episode. I don't know I just feel like it didn't get my blood pumping like other season finales did (I am looking at you Grave Danger or Living Doll) and it wasn't an amazing episode (like for example The Hunger Artist).

Also this is just my personal preference and I now it's tv land so it's not likely, but I do wish they'd stop going for the csi/main character in peril story for every single finale. At this point the last one we had without it was Bloodlines in season 4. And they really don't need to do it to have an amazing episode - The Hunger Artist is one of my fav episodes ever - and it was just an avergae case. Just really well written and performed.

That being said I am looking forward to the resolution of the case and there were some nice moments throughout the episode for sure.

(also - wth why was Sara not in the episode. I realize Jorja was probably busy or something, but it's really weird to me that a main character wasn't in the finale. I think that's the first time ever that has happened on csi!)

I saw this on Tumblr and just had to laugh. (It was a little longer but you get the point)

Since I met you...

I was really surprised that she wasn't on it. I thought that we would at least get to see to what she was doing while she was away. I didn't think that she was going away just so that she wasn't in the finale.

yeah I saw that as well and laughed cos it was really weird. I mean when last week they made a point of mentioning her going to SF I thought there had to be a reason for it, but I thought the case she was gonna testify on would somehow turn out to be related. I thought it was really very weird not to have a regular in the finale.

I really enjoyed the finale. My sister thinks the former prostitute and the reporter are working on it... he is kinda weird. I don't think this has to do with hookers... I think it was a ruse to get Ellie AND Morgan, and it has to do with Brass and Ecklie. Like an old case. Because why is Ellie still alive? She was obviously missing for awhile and the serial killer kept her.

Yeah something must be up with the reporter. Hmm that is an interesting theory. I wondered why Ellie would still be alive as well. It's weird that she hasn't turned up dead yet. Guess we'll have to wait a while to find out though.

You know the entire time I thought there was something up with the reporter but I kept telling myself "No, he's actually innocent and not involved". I'm still conflicted as to whether I think he's involved or not. Mio I agree with what you said about the episode. I'm sure Ellie would have been dead by now if she wasn't an important part of the case.
