I cried at the end too. Especially when they panned to the woman holding the baby, which I assumed was Warrick's son.

Wow I haven't anticipated a CSI episode so much since last season's premiere, and this one was amazing. It'll be a real shame if some Emmys aren't handed out for this one.

I'm watching it a second time through on iTunes, and I just noticed something: when Sara and Greg find the paternity papers, the date at the top is September 12, 2008. The episode takes place in May, no?

Good catch! And yes it does... well, at least I think it does. Maybe they meant September 2007.

I only saw it say September I did not see the year on it. I think it may have been Sept 2007 too because the actually filmed the episode back in May too.

I thought this was a great episode and I was glad to see them wrap up the mystery part of it instead of dragging things out for a few episodes.

Loved seeing Sarah again, and her interaction with all the characters. I especially liked the stuff with her and Greg.

William Petersen was great in all his scenes tonight. In particular, I thought him watching the DVD stood out as very strong work.

And yep, the funeral had me tearing up as well.

Yeah, I read that they were originally going to span it out for three more episodes with Warrick clinging on to life and dying in episode 04.

I would have hated that, so glad they didn't go that route.

I cried like a baby lol. So freaking sad... I can't think about it without tearing up.

So glad they got the undersheriff. I thought they might drag out that SL for a while but I'm glad that Warrick's death was avenged quickly. He deserved that.

The end was ... when I saw Grissom lose it and then Catherine and Nick... gahd it was impossible to keep it together after that. CSI will never be the same again without Warrick Brown, that's for sure.

This episode broke my heart, William Petersen is the king of the world in my opinion. The beginning scene with him holding Warrick was probably the most heartbreaking scene ever.....Then Grissom just sitting there with the blood all over him.

Oh the Warrick video saying if he could choose a father he'd choose Grissom, OMG *dies*....

Sara is back, woop! Jorja looks so pretty with that hair. GSR is love.

Nick!!!! I actually had to speak to the screen when he was holding the gun at Mccain man or whatever he was called. I thought he was gunna shoot him & when we heard the gun shot my heart dropped. Thank God Nicky isn't like that.

There are no words for the funeral. Grissom CRYING????? I sobbed, very moving scene. WP amazes me more & more with each episode.

It's normally Grey's that has me crying so much but this makes a nice change, my favourite show ever still managing to bring me to tears after 9 seasons!!!!!

I didn't think this episode would be that god cos I couldn't believe they were killing off Warrick, but I actually loved it. It was a really great episode and I'm so excited about the next one.

I was so happy to see Sara back, GSR and Sandle. I only wish that she was staying for good!

It was so sad but it really has hit me that Warrick is actually dead!

I am a ball of tears, it was so sad to see Grissom almost cry, just heartbreaking.

This show will never be the same without Warrick.

Props to the cast on this one:
Agreed... It was well done... I couldn't imagine working on this case though... It would be SO hard!

Did you see the evil look in Warrick's eyes when he glanced at the Undersheriff while he was being held by Grissom? Priceless. I hope the Undersheriff rots in jail. -- George also did an amazing job...

I was shocked to see that Warrick had a son... too bad he wasn't able to take care of it... that child would of been so loved! It was also touching when Warrick was being interviewed... we all know he was talking about Grissom.
WP did great... I thought at the end that he was gonna say he was a son to him, but he changed what he had started to stay....

I'm so glad that the team got McKeen... I was so afraid Nick was gonna shoot him @ the end!

And I totally didn't see the kid angle coming.... I'm guessing the mom was his ex-wife then? That part did confuse me, but I kept getting interrupted whilst trying to watch...

Just all in all... a fantastic premiere!

I was bawling so much by the end of the episode. The actors did such a great job with the episode.

It's definitely an episode to remember.

This was a great start to the season. When Grissom said that he was going to miss Warrick, I lost it.
