I have a question.

I notice that every forum has one of this post count thread and I wonder why. Do we need to reach a certain number of post every month to ensure this forum stays open or just for the sake of keeping the numbers for record purposes?

Astra,this is probably just my two cents, but most posters did not participate in the episode discussion thread because, well...there's nothing to discuss!

I think people would give their opinions on episodes that catches their fancy. Unfortunately, the show (CSINY) failed to do so for me since S3.

Hopefully that'll change soon

There is indeed a number that must be reached every month in order for the board to remain open. I cannot remember this number though.

We like to have it here just to see how well we're doing. I don't have a doubt about the posting numbers going down during the season. We've done very well in the past and the only thing that killed us was the strike.

The ep threads are often cut/dry because there's not a whole lot of personal drama on some of the CSI's... (especially Vegas...) so I can get why there's not a lot going on w/ those (usually anyway)....

I think as long as we get some personal drama in the show, people will be more interested in discussing it. If the show strictly focusing on the procedural aspect, there's nothing for us to get excited about other than to say ,'I love this week episode. It's great.' The discussion hardly go beyond that.

I find it odd that we're down for the month of April, even though we only had either one or two repeats that month.
