CSI: Crime Scene Investigation actor Robert David Hall (Dr Al Robbins) counts a scene from the season eleven premiere, “Shock Waves”, as one of his favourites. His character visited Dr Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) in the hospital and brought the injured CSI a cane. “I (had) some incredible interaction with Laurence that gets to both of us,” Hall told StarNewsOnline. “It was so real, I couldn’t believe it.” He added, “As men and as actors, we connect.”

CSI creator Anthony Zuiker and his Dare to Pass production company are working with CBS TV Studios to create a new series for the network called Desperado. Zuiker will serve as executive producer, Kyle Ward (Hitman 2) will be a writer and executive producer, and Matthew Weinberg will be a co-executive producer on the project. Desperado will revolve around a group of officers in modern-day San Antonio, Texas who use cowboy-style justice to bring down criminals.

Excellent... haven't watched 'The Talk' except for maybe 1x for 5 minutes, but I'll have to try and remember that air date!

I posted some pretty amazing information regarding upcoming guest stars, in the spoiler board. I wanted to post it here, but it might be considered spoilerish.

Some CSI: Miami news....

Quote:
According to the Futon Critic, CBS will air at least three new episodes of CSI: Miami at 8:00pm ET/PT on Sundays starting in January. So far, the episodes confirmed to air in this earlier timeslot are “Match Made in Hell” on January 2, “F-T-F” on January 9 and “Wheels Up” on January 16. (The 10:00pm ET/PT timeslot will be filled with repeats of Miami and other CBS programmes on these nights.)

This run of episodes will be followed by several weeks of preemptions and repeats, and Miami is expected to return to 10:00pm ET/PT when the 18th season of The Amazing Race premieres on Sunday, February 20 at 8:00pm ET/PT.

Ugh... I hate when airings get all sketchy and erratic...

Well... I'll have the series programmed for the DVR and will catch them when they air...

The latest episode of CSI: New York, “Holding Cell”, took the top spot on Friday, January 14. The episode pulled in 9.54 million viewers, which was up slightly from last week. These numbers put it way ahead of Primetime: What Would You Do? (4.97 million), Dateline (4.91 million), Human Target (4.77 million) and a repeat of Supernatural (1.40 million). In the key 18-49 demographic prized by advertisers, New York earned a 1.7 rating/5 share, which was enough to win a narrow victory over Primetime (1.5/5), Dateline (1.3/4), Human Target (1.2/4) and Supernatural (0.6/2).

As CSI Files previously reported, teen singing sensation Justin Bieber is returning to CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for an upcoming episode to follow up on the storyline introduced in the season eleven premiere, “Shock Waves”. Bieber posted on Twitter that today was his last day on the set, and he added that things were “gonna get deadly”. According to Life & Style, the singer-turned-actor was taken to the hospital from the CSI set late Wednesday. He had trouble breathing due to an allergic reaction, but he was discharged 30 minutes later. His rep confirmed that he was doing fine.

CSI: Miami actor Adam Rodriguez (Eric Delko) is taking his turn behind the camera later this season. (Spoilers after the jump!)

According to TVGuide.com, Rodriguez will write, direct and act in the sixteenth episode of Miami’s ninth season. “It’s going to be a real high-octane episode,” producer Barry O’Brien revealed. “It starts with a victim crossbowed to a tree in the Everglades, and it’s literally an action movie from the first frame. It’s really an exciting event for us.”

As CSI Files previously reported, burlesque artist Dita Von Teese takes on three distinct acting roles in tonight’s episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, “A Kiss Before Frying”. “The acting world is something I don’t even pretend to know anything about,” Von Teese told TVGuide.com. “I think it’s important to try new things, and I hope my efforts come off well. This was a much bigger role than I originally thought.” She added that playing a shy schoolteacher required her to ditch her glamorous look for something much more subdued. Without those tricks, she explained, “I felt very stripped down.”
