CSI: Cyber Crimes #1: New Spin-Off!? Share Thoughts! (Season 2 Premiere, Oct. 4th, 10PM)
 Inspired by the work of real-life CyberPsychologist Mary Aiken, CSI: Cyber centers on Special Agent Avery Ryan (Arquette) who heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world. ------ Hi Everyone! There is a new CSI Spin-Off in the works that will deal with Cyber Crimes and at the helm is Patricia Arquette. What are you're thoughts on this new spin off and what are your casting ideas/choices? Thanks for the new thread.
I would just take the possible out of that sentence because it is a spin-off that is going to air in the Spring of 2015. Definitely going to check it out. __________________

Great idea for a thread!
Thanks for opening  I am looking forward to seeing the new spin off. I really don't know who I'd like on the show. I'd have to think about it. I just know I want more female characters on it. I am sick of watching shows with more men than women in them or where the men are the more important characters  __________________

I am looking forward to this. I am a big fan of Patricia's work, and I was sad when Medium went off air. I hope that this will be a hit in the ratings.

Hope it does well. I liked the episode where they introduced the show and Patricia is a great actress so I really hope it finds viewers.

Do we know what the ratings were for the episode in which the spin-off was introduced on CSI: Vegas?
That may have a tell in what people thought of it. |

It was 9.55M...it was honestly kinda the same as the other eps.

The show was pretty good with keeping it's ratings steady. I'm just hoping this Sunday thing doesn't affect either of the two shows.

Yeah - csi may not be as huge ratings wise as it used to be, but it's still very stable and is a strong show ratings wise. A lot of other shows get renewed with a lot less.
