I'm back! My son started school today... It's so weird because normally they've been back for a couple weeks at this time, but that's the way it goes!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

I was spontaneous today and chopped my hair off!

It looks better in person.

My hair was just past my shoulders before I cut it. I love it!

M, I said something innapropriate for Love your hair, by the way!

Astra, Quebec wants students to go back at the end of August, so this year they had a full first week, but there were years where I went on Thursday and Friday.

It seems like most schools want to start on a Wed or Thur., doesn't it?

All I know is that this week has seemed longer despite the Labor Day holiday...

I can't wait to sleep late tmw!

Certainly not, jackass. Honestly when I heard about Ross burning his hand (and subsequently waiting almost a week before heading to the emergency) I said the nice big F-word.

Aww, poor Astra. Maybe it's getting back into the routine of things.

Well, I'm back from my most awesomest weekend. I was in Grand Forks for the Britney Spears concert. I wasn't going to go because of my back, but I paid a lot of money for it and I tried selling it to no avail (some wanted to pay $20 vice my full price of $60). I sat nearly the entire time, but had to get up to stretch.. my back is a little aggravated and I have a headache, but I had a blast. I'm surprised I didn't get up and dance around, but I'm too old for that!

Nice pic, M!

I broke my toe (maybe sprained? Nearest hospital is in the next town over and I only have a Quebec medicare card, so I won't get it checked out until I'm home- not that there's much point) and the worst of it is how bored I am. I desperately want to take Champ for a walk, he's got a prong collar and everything so I *know* he'd behave (as it is, I think he would without it, but I wouldn't take the chance) but I can't really head out.

Broken toes are not fun. I did that a couple of years ago.

I'm home again for the second day in a row. My sciatic nerve was inflamed and causing me a lot of pain.

I have to go out later anyways; I need toilet paper and deodorant. And a bag of potato chips.

Oooh.... sorry to hear about your toe.... It's probably better off to wait anyway (unless you have severe swelling or pain) because they usually don't do much for that...

My hubby dropped a heavy thing on his once and the only they did was drill through the nail to release the pressure/fluid underneath it...
And Lord knows I've cracked my pinky toe a million times... it's a wonder its not crooked

:hugs: Here's hoping yours feels better soon! and get out and about soon!

Thanks Astra. Thankfully it's feeling better... unless I do something stupid (stepping down to hard, walking down the stairs, pivoting).

When I broke my toe the doctor said to tape it. That actually made it worse. Broken toes are not fun.
