Hey everyone...

Phew... I'm whooped.... It's been crazy busy around here lately...

Hubby was out of town for a week, then he came back and then my son had a camping trip and then it was run run run doing errands...

I'm hoping things will settle down for at least a couple of days...

What Above Love, Never, These Dreams.... I like all of their songs.

I am still tired. I started the late shift tonight and well, wiped. I didn't get around to homework. Bah.

Ah, I gotta gets to my homework. I wish I could take tomorrow off to ensure I get some done, but I'll be missing two days of work: next Monday and the following Monday.

My son is on spring break next week too, so it will be nice to have a bit of a break...

He's had two track meets this week (plus other stuff) so I'm looking forward to a respite!

Hi all.

My weekend.
So Thursday I finished up my paper, I missed the bus I wanted, so I had to grab a later one, turn in my paper and catch the 1pm bus to Ottawa. I got to Ottawa around 3:30, called my friend Frances and she told me to walk down Laurier, well I walked along Waller. I immediately called her again when I hit a sketchy part of town and she said she'd meet me at the University and so I turned around (which is when I figured out I went along the wrong street). Somehow I ended up taking a turn and coming up to the university on a different street (Woo me! Make a triangle). Frances marvelled at how I got lost in Ottawa. We hung out and I was 15 minutes late for meeting my brother-in-law, Paul. (It's actually a miracle we were only 15 minutes late). I went to Kathy and Paul's for that night.
On Friday morning Kathy, Sam, Frankie, Bethany and I piled into her minivan, and drove for 7 hours (including 2 breaks) to Toronto. I swear it was like the skies opened up, still we made it with minimal losing ourselves. We ate, and hit the pool (a little too chlorinated, but there was a hot tub, so yay that).
On Saturday We went to the Ontario Science Centre, it was rather enjoyable (I have think skin, and I probably should protect it more) except it was a bit too crowded at parts. We went to Medieval Times for dinner, it wasn't too filling despite the amount of food, but the entertainment was awesome. My section was cheering for the evil knight, but he was the best one there and we were the craziest section.
On Sunday we went to the Toronto Zoo. It was great fun, except Kathy and I temporarily misplaced each other. I had the two older children, ands she had the youngest. We found each other about 3 hours later though. It's a big zoo. I'd say we walked about 6km, after that we went to dinner at a restaurant called Shopsys, it's a nice place. And we walked to the CN Tower. The glass floors are about 2" thick, seriously- I thought they were thicker than that. Still, apparently the glass floors can hold multiple elephants.
On Monday We had a "leisurely" morning and hit the road around 11, and got back to my sister's around 5:30. And I'm back at home today.
The entertaining thing is that Kathy couldn't get them to accept 5, so she snuck me in. A lot of help came from the fact that the hotel was hosting hockey teams in a tournament. 5 gajillion 10 and 11 year old boys can be ning.

Now, where's M so I can tell her to get the f off of my lawn.

Hey Mandy, welcome to the breakroom. It's going well...ish, I need to shower, make my lunch for tomorrow, and do the dishes but I'm feeling lazy.
