Yeah late August/early September to around the 23rd. We'd always stay in school until 12:01 so the teachers would get paid for the whole day. Wow, I'm missing mt youth.

We start in September, that's why. But we do have more professional development days... what the heck! I barely had any of those when I was in school!

Hey Labrats, my weekend have been great so far. I've gotten a lot of rest. Sorry I've been a bit a busy. I had an interview with the Austin Modern Museum of Art (Art School) and It went great. I will be working part time at their summer art camp later this time and even though it not paid this position as teacher assistant could lead to a full time paid teaching position in the fall. So I hope every thing works out. I least I'm getting some more experience to put on my resume. Though I wish I could get a work visa for the UK because I had a pretty awesome job opportunity with Conde Nast, but they don't offer sponsorship. Sucks, but oh well.

Hey Astra- The experience will only make me better and it's one more thing to put on my resume. I just got a call and I will be starting next week. The class is call Urban Photography and it's at their downtown location. Sounds like fun! Wish me luck!

I've had a craptacular week at work, I nearly quit. I've been keeping low the last week; coming home and basically vegging on the couch then going to bed early.

Some days (and weeks) are like that... Sorry to hear it... Here's hoping next week is better... Sometimes you just have to gut through... We're pulling for ya, girl!

Not much happening here... my son had track camp last week (just during the morning) , and I'm going to be missing him next week b/c he'll be at a scout training camp the whole week (not home at all!) *sniffle* I'm guessing the only thing he'll miss is XBox Live...

At least he's going. My nephew would glue himself into the computer chair with industrial-strength adhesive before going to camp.

I get like that on workdays. Sometimes I veg out in front of the computer, but I'm too lazy/down to post much on the rough days.

I took a vacation day today; I also need to get my foot look at. I can't touch it without it hurting.
