Of course! Then several more people then I was aware of are alcoholics. Believe me, it really doesn't take much to put people over the limit, especially with her slight build and especially if she wasn't eating.

Now, see, I know she has a problem. You know she has a problem. We all know she has a problem. All I'm saying is, the whole team hasn't noticed a thing for well over a year now. This could just be one more thing they dismiss.

I'm hoping they don't. The sooner they resolve this whole storyline the better.

Well... my overall thoughts were that it was a good episode...

I was surprised that the ending of either of the main stories (the Dr. and Sara's) weren't a bit more dramatic.

I thought the ending with Sara/Grissom was sad. It is so hard for me to ship these two... so I saw it more of a paternal 'I know it's hard to do this job' comfort thing...' *shrug*

I thought Nick/Sara were cute on the strip. And though I hadn't read spoilers, someone mentioned a scene w/ Nick cut out (finding Sara out). Seriously, they should have had Warrick be the one suspecting but not saying anything, because he seems so attune to the hard aspects of life....

Sorry... went into a bit of a ramble there

Good finale, but I was hoping for a little better....

I must say that I really enjoyed that episode. The DNA evidence being wrong totally had me blind-sided until the end. That's why I love this show, very well written.

You have to feel horrible for Catherine. Of course, the Linley character was totally heart-wrenching as well. Had to know that the killer wasn't going to let her get away again.

Greg in the field? YES! Can't wait for that!

As for the Sara storyline, it was pretty real to me. Although perhaps they could have hinted at it in earlier eps a little more then they actually did. I thought Jorja played it very well. As Snickerdoodle said, her expression was priceless. I could also have taken a bit more of the Warrick/Nick/Sara scene. That would have been cool to see. *sigh* Oh Well.

Nice end to a good season...can't wait for next season.

That was a great scene, though.

I did think this was a good episode. I was thrown by the evidence, too. Such a heartwrenching way to end it, though, with Lindley being dead. We knew that was coming, though.

At the start of the show, the way they tied in the music with the scene cuts, very dramatic and respectufl and sad. I thought it was a good way to handle the rape scene.

I was suprised by Sara's alcoholism... I've missed a few episodes this year, so maybe I missed the lead-up to this. However, it did surprise me.

Count me in on some of that crack then. Cause I do. My main beef is how Sara has been treated all season. When she first came on the show she was a highly regarded forensics expert from San Francisco who was coming on board as a favor to Grissom. Yeah, she was a nerd but not the kind of isolated anti-social "I need a Lady Heather to loosen me up" kind of nerd like Grissom is. She's the kind of woman who'll go out with the gang after work and have a good time and actually have a life outside of work. This season they've just made her moopy, moping and, oh yeah, an alcoholic. Poor Jorja to have to put up with this. Earlier seasons Sara was stronger than that, the least thet could have done was given her as many as episodes as they've given Cat for character development. Instead of we've gotten is a little bit here and there and now the season finale.
I need a Lady Heather?

But ITA. Not just about that but everything else. And I'm glad I'm not the only one on crack. Sara used to totally rock up to PwF when she asked Grissom out. Like you said and someone mentioned before, I think it was sunny, they should give us some kind of explanation as to what made her finally crack and turn to alcohol. Cuz the whole thing was so downplayed.

I so totally agree with you. The Sara storyline is very real. It's totally realistic, except for the fact that we still don't know what set her off.

Snickers, I don't know if it was me who said it, but it has been my feeling all along. The character of Sara Sidle, as she has been introduced and developped for four years would never, ever turn to alcohol because some guy used her and another turned her down. I don't care how much that hurt. It's gotta be more than that.

At the very least, they should tie it in with how her obsession with her work may have become too much. Because, to me, this seems more like a burn out than a sudden addiction for flimsy reasons. That much is consistent. Sara doesn't do the personal life thing well, which is why I don't buy that men could have turned her to the bottle. What I would buy is that it's come on so gradually that she doesn't even know when it began, but work is just too much to handle anymore, the cases get to her more and more,... something.

Either way, I hope they address how gallactically blind the whole team's been. These are CSIs, for crissakes, they ought to have noticed something!!!

Anyone notice that the CSIs are really bad at looking at problems of those they care about? No one's noticed Sara's drinking and it took forever for Grissom's hearing problems to be noticed.

When we were in Las Vegas in April, we went down to Fremont Street one night. There was a bunch of people at the end of the street acting weird, so we walked down there. Finally we figured out they were taping CSI, when Katherine walked right by us. Most of the stars were there, and it was pretty neat. Amazing how long it takes to film one short scene.

Well, it ended up that it was going to be the season finale, which was tonight (5/20). I was taping it, thinking there was about a one-in-a-million chance I might catch a glimpse of us. As I'm watching, I see the part we saw them tape, and I swear I saw us right in the front of a scene (just for a split second). When it went to commercial, I quickly went for the remote to rewind it and look again to make sure. What I found was one of our lovely cats laying on the remote, which had turned the VCR off.

So the point of my post....did anyone happen to tape the final episode tonight? If so, is there any way I could get a copy to see if I'm a big TV star? I'd be happy to pay for a tape and any shipping costs. I might even trade a little white cat that turns VCRs off. LOL.

I thought if anyone might have it, it would be someone from here. Thanks if you can help.

My email: lambeau@execpc.com or you could post here.

Well, maybe she needs to be sent over the edge. You know what they say about hitting rock bottom... Aside from the whole "and then there was 50 feet of crap and then a whole new rock bottom" thing...

I mean, I know I'm the last person who should be weighing in on this, because I want Grissom and Lady Heather to be together and for Nick and Sara to find one another... But, seriously, wherever it is that you (and I mean all of you, all of us) happen to ship, you can't believe that the Sara we've seen this season is alright. She bears no resemblance to the fiery, confident, if fallible, woman that we have gotten to know ever since her introduction four years ago.

So maybe she needs to get over whatever it is that she's struggling for and then find some damn happiness for her own self. Because there's a reason AAs can't have relationships that first year. You're just trading one addiction for another. She has to find her inner-bliss.

Yeah, I think what Sara needs more than anything s to recognize her problem (we all see that she has one, hopefully Grissom will too next season). I don't think it would be necessary for Lady Heather to come back for that, but it would be fun to see her again .

I thought Brass figured out that Sara was drinking in the episode where that rich Porno couple were murdered out in front of their house.

I think he kind of confronted her but Sara stonewalled him.
