Alyson and Nicky looked great as vampires. That make up process wow I saw a video how they did that

The vampire makeup on this show as always pretty impressive

& I bet it was fun for them to play pretty different versions of their usual characters

Okay this is how they did that vampire make up:


- plaster cast of the face of the actor and they let the nostrils out so the actor can breathe and they also dont cover their eyes with that stuff
- then they put it off the face and pour fluid latex in that form and put it into an oven
- mask is ready and they fit it for the face of the actor (forehead, eyes cutted out so they can see and then over the nose) with special glue and cover it with brown fluid make up, airbrush to blend it in so it looks more real
- the actor gets yellow contact lenses
- mascara for the lashes
- eyeshadow
- they make them vampire teeth (some are so they can speak and others are not for that it depends)

Done!

And Julie Benz said they always shoot the scene where the actor/actress wears the vampire make up, they shoot that first and then the scene without the make up ´cause the make up takes like 45 minutes to get ready to "turn" them into vampries when they already have the mask.

So yeah Alyson and Nicky knew what David Boreanaz, James Marsters , Juliet Landau and Julie Benz and Sarah (for one episode) had to sit through.
But it looks great! Todd McIntosh did a wonderful work.

It was, I guess it showed how much they were past it that she joked about it there, although I think we all knew that they had been past it for a long time
