I really liked these two, until Xander's madness with Wilow in S3, which was clearly just a lame plot device to cause pointless drama between C/X and W/O. But Xander buying her dress for her was a really nice touch which showed there was no hard feelings between them. I'd have liked them to interact in later years after Cordy moved to LA and Xander was with Anya, I think that would have been very interesting.

Yeah, I didn't like the Xander/Willow thing at all. I didn't really understand what drove it, & neither of them showed any shred of romantic feelings for each other afterwards, so it meant nothing anyway
 However, after the break up I did really enjoy their little arc in The Prom, him buying that dress for her was very sweet & I think it meant a lot to Cordy  __________________

I agree, I would have liked them to have another shot, but I do think it was the right thing for the writers to do. I just wish they could have had a little more scenes in those last eps of s3 & maybe a more obvious kind of closure.

I wish they could have met in the later years, Xander wouldn't have recognised her compared to shallow and vain girl he knew.
