I always wondered that about Angel & Doyle too!

I always felt like Cordy being so desperate to see Angel in this timeline didn't really fit, because they were never really close in their Sunnydale days

Yeah, that confused me. lol It should have gotten explained better since it was always Doyle giving Cordy the visions through a kiss and his love for her so that confused me.....

It seems Cordy slowly was remembering some things. But just not fully everything.

That's the only way to explain the cangel here imo

I think the writers didn't explain how Angel would have got the visions because they knew it was a bit of a loophole

Skip telling Cordy the mistake of having these visions.....
Skip is giving Cordy a loophole... and it's her becoming part demon.

Cordy does not care, she is ready to become part demon cause she still keeps the visions.

Cordy is awake.
