I can understand that, but the writers made it subtle on purpose because they wanted it to be a bit of a surprise when they got together - maybe if they had done it differently, people would be more open to them

Yeah probably so... probably it would have been different HOWEVER, I think the Billy episode was a bigger episode for Gunn/Fred over Fred/Other Man ~~Wesley~~

Gunn made sure he didn't hurt Fred and did everything he could to stay in control!

& I agree about Billy, I love how he tried to protect her from Wesley first, & then himself when he realized that was going to be a problem.

Me too, I don't like thinks like romantic connections being just thrown in your face. I want it to be more subtle, because that's when it feels more real

I agree! so with Gunn and Fred, you can see those little moments even before they got together.

Definitely - although there are some moments that make me wonder why they didn't see something like there, like when he told her "you know you're gorgeous"

For me, I can say that I probably wasn't paying close attention. lol Because I didn't even see the Wes/Fred build as well.... I think I was sort of blinded by Fred crush on Angel. lol So ... yeah. lol

^ It was, so I never truly got to see her crush really went away before the Wes and Gunn thing started.

I probably can look at things a bit different now though.

I always felt like the Angel crush was put to bed at the end of Fredless, but even at the point it was shown that she was starting to feel comfortable with Gunn & the others. I'd have to rewatch to try & pinpoint when I think she started to like him
