I have thought a bit on these issues myself, and constructed some may-work explainations. take them for what they're worth

As to the hammer, it was, for the first, an enchanted trolls hammer, and therefore extra powerful. and she had already been weakened by the dagon-sphere. And then I like the thought of Spike helping out a lot in that, knocking into Xanders and the others' heads that Glory is Ben, and therefore breaking down the magic separating them, making them more one person, who was considerably weaker than pure Glory.

the spell that brought out the primitive massively enraged it, and made it try to kill them in their dreams. If they tried summoning her again, I think theres a good chance that she would have refused to obey, or perhaps killed them for real.

the Chosen-inconsistancy is harder to explain, enen Joss have admitted that to be a (necessary) myth flaw. but I like to think there was an extra power-surge in every slayerette when they were made into slayers, which in just that time, made them way stronger than ordinary slayers

Jeez... I hated Glory. And Dawn. They're where so annoying! =X


As for my favorite Big Bad, I have to go with Spike/Dru/Angelus. Come on, this is a show about vamps! What better Big Bad than sexy-and-twisted vamps? =P

I'd have to agree with you there. I loved that trio so much...A large part of what made season 2 great.

Yeah... Actually I think there wasn't enough of them in the season! =| I wish I could have seen more of Dru and Spike (gotta love them). And Angelus too, cause even though he's on every episode he doesn't really do much. He's just there cause he has to, cause DB had a contract for the whole season lol That's kinda crappy.

Next would be Glory, then the First, then the Mayor, then Dark Willow, then Adam, then the Master, then the Trio. I didn't like the Trio.

I loved The First. I've said it before but I loved the First just for the ending of Lessons. It can be any dead person it wants, get inside your head and mess you up. It can take you down from the inside out.

Then I would go with The Trio/Dark Willow- humanity at it's worst.

Then Spike/Dru/Angelus, Glory, The Master, and The Initiative.

I loved Spike/Angelus/Dru as villans. They were my favourites by far

The Trio/Initiative were great examples of humanity and how we don't need demons to destroy ourselves.

The First was awesome because it's the first evil. It never dies and is eternal. You can fight it but you can never win the final battle against it.

I liked the Mayor because he was evil and chippy at the same time

Glory /Ben were okay as villains but annoying.

The Master did kill Buffy (which is what neither of the villains were able to do) but he was far from my favourites.

Spike/Drusilla/Angelus were my favorites. All they needed was Darla.

Then Dark Willow/The Trio/The Intiative, humanity at it's worst

Then Glory/Ben.

Then The Mayor.

Then Adam.

Then the Master.

Oh yeah Adam He was pretty strong but lacked the personality of the other villains. Even the Master made me laugh sometimes. I wasn't a big fan of Adam.

Adam was like Frankenstein's monster but with not heart. At least he was sensitive.

As far as the Trio goes only Warren was a real villain. Johnathan was caught up in the wrong crowd and Andrew was a spineless moron.

It really was just Warren, and while he wasn't evil, we saw him become a pretty bad human.
