I don't remember any scenes after that. They used to be such good friends. And now nada

I don't remember any other scenes either. I don't get why they aren't getting any. Jenny doesn't have scenes with anyone besides maybe Marian and Axel. Although what's going on with her and Katja? She got her to be apart of the Steinkamp team?

It is funny If I remember they also kind of aducted his ex.wife once

Yes it is funny. Oh... well that's a bit better. I think I want to see him and Jenny together just because.

Yup, they have a few running gags...making fun of themselves. I like that. Soaps should take sthemselves too serious anyway

I don't think they should either. I love that even SPN makes fun of itself all the time.

I'm trying to stay positive. I think I'll like Eleven, hopefully, but I'm not sure about Amy. From what I've seen she's just really flat.

I think I'm going to be disappointed with Eleven and his floozy but I bet the actual episodes are going to be great. A title like Victory of the Daleks needs to have an epic episode attached.

Have you seen a clip of The Eleventh Hour? Matt seems to be channeling Ten but he lack's David's charm so it falls flat for me in the clip.

I'm intrigued about the episodes, except for the River ones , so I agree. I don't think Amy or Matt can carry the show like Chris, David, Billie, Freema, and Catherine did. I know I'm biased but in the clips and trailers I've seen they've both been lacking, her moreso than him.

And I did see that clip... he was a bit full of himself but didn't pull off the ego like David did. IMO I feel like Chris and David were the Doctor but Matt seems to be playing him you know? He's not owning the character... he's still copying David.

River from Silence in the Library? The chick who knows his name because Moffat can't stand the fact that Nine and Ten loved Rose completely? Oh yeah, I wont be looking forward to those episodes either

He does seem to be just playing the role instead of owning it And his companion bugs me. I haven't seen anything stellar from her yet and they seem to be about selling her body. Rose, Martha and Donna do not approve!

Yes that River. She's going to be in 4 episodes. And what's so sad is that Moffat started Doctor/Rose! He wrote The Doctor Dances.

They don't. Amy's pretty no doubt and she's got a nice body but that doesn't not make a great companion. She just seems so blah. And the fact that Moffat's going all Girl in the Fireplace again with the Doctor meeting her when she's a little girl makes me dislike her and them even more.

But I do have to admit Matt is kind of cute sometimes.

I fell for Nine right off the bat and it took a couple of episodes to get into Ten so I don't think Eleven has a shot in hell tbh But I do like what I've read and seen from Matt in interviews

I love Moffat's episodes but he needs to get over his Rose hate. And he should have picked an older companion or a male one this time. We've had 3 main female companions in the last 3 series and Rose was already pretty young at 19. This chick looks like she should still be in high school, what were they thinking? Plus I think we were spoiled with women who may not have had their lives completely in order but were still pretty independent and strong. I'm not getting those vibes from Red.

I loved both Nine and Ten right away but idk I just don't feel Eleven. But Matt's cool.... at least cooler than Moffat and Karen.

I don't think he will. I honestly don't get his Rose hate. He actually said that Billie was not going to be anywhere near S5. Just get the **** over it. And they definitely should have chosen a male companion. They already did the older companion with both Donna and Wilf. I want something new. It just feels like they're trying to win over the younger audiences. And agreed... I'm just curious what's going to happen because Amy's apparently engaged too.

I would have loved for Wilf to have been the new companion Or his friend who patted Ten on the butt!

It's clear that his idea of DW is different than Russel's but Rose was not only important to the Doctor but to the reimagining of DW itself. It was the first time that the companion was the focus. I don't know if Moffat will keep that or if the show will throwback to Old Who.
