I agree.
 Well IMO Spike has had the best arc of any character like ever! I'm biased of course.  My brother thinks the same thing and Spike is his fave character ever and he is a huge movie buff. That says a lot to me.  This is a vid from an amazing vidder that I wish would do lots more Buffy related vids again. My brother's birthday is the 30th and James thought it was cool that their birthdays were so close and that meeting him was part of his present.
  It was worth it b/c James is such a sweetie. I love how down to earth he is and app. of his fans. I've never met anyone that wasn't nice luckily. __________________

From what I've heard from multiple people, James is one of THE nicest stars of the show to fans, and his enthusiasm that he still has for it all really shines through. Which is wonderful to know.
