I love that manip.

I would have loved to see that scene on screen. It's definitely a defining moment. I love that she told him before everyone else.

You need to make your own Photo Bucket or search for images on it. You can also make one on Tiny Pic or Image Shack.

Right now you are hot linking.
You go to insert image but don't take it from a site unless it's like PhotoBucket. Where you store images.

I'll give this a go, now that I'm semi-unlurky.

I don't know that there is one that defines them as a couple, but I think there is definitely some turning points for them.

For Spike I would also say FFL when he tries to comfort Buffy. To me that was when he finally accepted that he was in love with Buffy and it wasn't some wonky attraction. For Buffy I would say Intervention. When Spike didn't give Dawn up she looked at him different and had a sense of respect for him she didn't have before.

Two other big moments for them I think was in NLM when Buffy told Spike how much she believed in him and that he could be a good man, which echoes back to his William days. He probably should have been staked but Buffy told him exactly what he needed to hear to overcome his issues and move forward. Then in Touched, Spike returns the favor and tells Buffy exactly what she needs to hear to move forward and get past her issues.

It's all very warm and fuzzy.

I think even for Buffy FFL was a transformative moment. That scene just changed things. It changed everything, I think, actually.

Aww this is making me love the end of FFL more.

I remember reading a lot of fics about her telling him. Now I wanna find one to read.

I definitely have to agree with all four of those moments.

FFL was a huge development in their relationship. We got to see that Spike cares for Buffy... I mean the change in his face when he sees her crying says so much.

And Buffy's reaction to knowing that he didn't give up Dawn because he couldn't bare to see her in pain... she didn't plan to kiss him she just did.

NLM was beautiful. She believes in him. She can see the man he wants to be... she knows he can do it.

And in Touched... that was wonderful. Lying in each other's arms sleeping peacefully after everything that happened to them the season before... and him giving her the strength she needed.
