How can you choose just one scene for them?

They have So many layers.

I will have to think and I still don't know if I can answer that.

When we were talking about the scene that would have followed Fool For Love, when Buffy told him about her mother, I think that was probably the defining moment in their relationship. It was off screen, of course - but I think that got the ball rolling and it never stopped from then on. I think that was the moment he realized he actual loved her, and she opened up to him for the first time and shared something meaningful and real with him. Before that it was all snark and banter and sexual chemistry with them.
