I know! Definitely the wrong person to bring back to kill Angel... although I believe she was brought back to try and lure to their side..

I think it was partly that, or just drive him insane which she did very well - that was one of the things that I never really got about W&H, because even if they did drive him to the bad side, I never thought he would join them, he'd just be dark but still be after them too

Anyway, they should have worried about what would have happened if Darla had driven Angel dark again (which she did, for a little while) & then if they had teamed up again against W&H! They never liked taking orders from anyone, they didn't work with the Master, so they certainly weren't going to be puppets for W&H

I agree with you, they need to do their research better... they'd trust Darla and Angelus to obey the rules? do they get how absurd that sounds. Although if that night Darla and Angel slept together was more loving over angry despair sex, their plan probably would've fell through.

So I completely agree with you all the way.

I'd never really thought too much about it before, but now it's clear that W&H's plan really sucked

I don't care though, we got Darla back out of it & some great Angel/Darla scenes!

I thought at the time their plan sucked actually.

Agreed! I'm so happy Darla was brought back cause I probably never would've got to ship A/D!! I loved looking at the present and flashback, and chemistry and whole soulmates element to their relationships. They went through so much together and I'm happy we got to see it.

That's true, even though I do love their flashbacks & the few scenes from btvs, I probably wouldn't have shipped them. Human Darla with Angel just brought this whole different element to their dynamic & gave them angst that we'd never seen them have before & a whole new understanding of each other
