I actually agree with you... especially since I know see some love stories so much different from how I did in the past. Don't get what Buffy truly loves and with Angel... I can understand his love probably a little bit more than Buffy's... I guess. lol

Yeah, I mean... the most interesting thing that she ends up knowing about him in this episode is that he's a vampire. & he's good looking.... that's literally all her 'love' was based on imo.

She did.

She got to be on the outside doing whatever she likes.
Makes sense why she would choose to be with Angelus...

At least they kept that true to the story when we got the backstory on the Angel series.

Yeah, there were some things that they got right. I love that they didn't try to change the Angel/Darla story, they just added to it
