It is, it was so intense & there were supposed to be enemies at that point, but there was still so much want there! & not just on Darla's side, Angel wanted her just as much too

I felt a bit sad for Darla in season 2 than I did for her in the 1800s though... in the 1800s I felt bad for Angel because he had a soul and he had this guilt and his whole life changed and he was haunted by everything he did and he didn't know what to do! And Darla was his whole world and she didn't want to be around him anymore for something that wasn't his fault.

In season 2, I felt for Darla because she wanted her Angelus back for over a century and didn't get him back.

I agree, plus we had seen for pretty much the whole season how focused Darla still was on Angel. She was so close to her goal only to have it ripped away

^ I know and I think with souless Darla even though Angel with the soul still cared about her, I just feel with Angelus it was different... especially for Darla...
Like some of the stuff Angel would do is things Angelus wouldn't have since they both accepted each other for the evil vampires that they were.

And nah, Angelus ain't killing Darla for anyone.

I think it showed over the centuries that they were together. She betrayed him, he fought for her harder, she got taken hostage, he risked his life to bring her back. She has a disease that she can die from and he calls her his sweet death and say he'd claw back from the depths of hell to be by her side.

For a guy who supposedly couldn't love, his feelings for Darla came pretty dang close.

I guess a sick kind of love or something. lol

But yeah... Angelus literally couldn't be without Darla since she was all he knew.

And Darla choose Angelus over the Master which was huge!

Also, congrats on hitting 100k FINALLY!
