I have some good or bad news, depending on how you interpret it. Looks like Fox is interested in a Buffy reboot, which is not surprising considering the 90s reboot news that seems to be happening a lot nowadays.

I knew it was coming sooner or later, cause everything is being rebooted nowadays. It will never be as good as the original and I have no use for it if they make one. At the same time, I won't act like a lunatic over it like I've seen some Roswell fans act over that reboot. These are just fictional TV shows and It's not that serious.

I agree the reboot will never be as good as the original. I may give it a try, or not. Depends if it actually gets greenlighted or not. If the original cast somehow had roles in the show, ok, I might definitely give it a try.

I’ve seen news like this pop up since the series ended it seems. I’ll believe it when I see/hear it from joss
 Idk. Kinda can’t replace the original. I can’t imagine myself really caring about it. I just don’t want them to taint the original.  __________________

I'm hoping that rather than a reboot, we get something of a spin-off. I know that Joss has become involved with the comics this season, given it's the final season comic-wise, and I wonder if he might try to bring Fray to the TV screen.

Really hoping they don't do a reboot, you just can't redo BTVS. Makes me sick to even think about them doing that, some things just should not be redone.

If you get the Pop channel season 1 just started showing last Friday. This Friday a few of them come on as well.

The social-media giant is launching every episode of Joss Whedon’s supernatural drama “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and spinoff “Angel” along with sci-fi show “Firefly” on Facebook Watch for free to users the U.S. All 268 episodes of the shows will be available to watch starting Friday, Nov. 30, under a licensing pact with 20th Century Fox Television.
