Yep! Darla was really the main one who could keep him in some order. lol I guess because she taught him everything he knew and he had that connection with her. With Dru, he was just twisted with her. With Spike, he just always felt superior to him.

He did, I feel like Buffy & the scoobies kind of got off easy in season 2 tbh... except for when he killed Jenny of course
