I believe Buffy did love Riley, I wish they would of worked out but I'm glad she had that relationship. Her most normal and definitely healthy one.

Yup and I'm sure if she got to him in time than she probably would've expressed that to him.

Me too, & I really loved their interactions in that ep. Even though he was supposedly happily married, it seemed to me like there were still feelings on both sides

For sure. That episode showed that Buffy still had feelings for Riley and wasn't over him. I'm also sure Buffy will always be the love of Riley's life.

It makes me sad to admit it, but I think so too... I don't think he loved Sam the way that he loved Buffy

No way, plus that marriage was very rushed. Riley was only gone a year or less and got married already? Ridiculous lol, I think her being his girlfriend would of been enough but I guess it was to devastate Buffy more.

It was just too difficult for me to truly judge Sam and Riley's love since I didn't see enough of it. It felt like 2 filed partner but not the true love thing but again I'm not sure since I didn't see enough of it.

Yeah, if we had gotten more, maybe we'd be able to understand the relationship better & believe that Riley had really moved on in that time... but from what we did see, I just can't buy it
