Um, in some scenes it was a bit off - but that made sense for Spike's character, but I think in the dancing scene it was as strong as it had ever been

^ I feel the same way... in a way it seems they were in totally different places in their lives.

And for me from Dru perceptive I was a little bit confused... only because we know she left Spike for a demon and she seemed content with that and than we see the flashback of her telling him he was covered with the slayer and than suddenly she's back and want to be with Spike again? Probably being around Darla and Angel made her feel that way?

Yeah, there was definitely something missing from Dru's motivations. Spike wasn't the Spike that she wanted anymore, so for her to assume that he had somehow changed back, really didn't seem to add up. Maybe it was just the nostalgia factor

Yeah and that was (for me) a little bit of rushing on the writers part.
I truly disliked how both Angel and Spike were both willing to kill Darla and Dru over Buffy.

Annoyed the heck out of me. lol At least from Angel's perspective I can sort of defend it by saying that if Angel didn't dust Darla than Darla would've killed a slayer with a bullet. From Spike's side... eh... no.

I just wasn't a fan.
Spike/Dru should've just stayed a thing of the past for our memory.

Yeah, that was annoying, Spike's logic there was just crazy! I wonder if he knew that Angel had killed Darla to save Buffy & thought that was what got her to trust him early on

She would have been a lot happier if she hadn't, but maybe the writers felt like they needed to close the door on them for good
