  You're Welcome While Birthday has its flaws, it was brilliant in that it was Cordelia's self-discovery story and one of the show's strongest displays of hers and Angel's devotion to each other.  __________________

Ah, or did she just force herself to ignore it.
If I recall correctly, the first thing she did when she got in the door was shoved her suitcase at him, talked incessantly about her 'trauma' while surveying the apartment then quickly fled to the shower. I'll have to watch it again but I do recall that she made quick work of getting in, inviting herself to stay with him and then helping herself to his shower. Like perhaps she'd gotten flustered and needed to avoid the yummy sight of him in just a towel. Remember she lived in hardcore denial that she was attracted to him. There are Fanfic authors that retell that scene from this perspective. Or well one at least comes to mind which of course I can't find because I can't remember title or author. >_<. __________________
