You said it gave Angel a new sense of purpose and added some interesting substance. My response to that was me basically me saying yeah ok but (just repeating my thoughts about Connor again) that the writers could have given him a new sense of purpose and interesting substance without Connor since he wasn't needed. I saw we both agreed with that but was just restating to also show my feelings now that you mentioned that. I also never said he was the only purpose.

Anyway though... thanks for the fic rec. I'll have to remember to try and read it once I get done with my rereads.

Overall I believe we agree.

I got into a reread spree myself while searching AO3 for the 'healing incantation' pic set but am trying to also read some PG-PG-13 whereas I usually just go for the NC-17.
At this point I've read pretty much all the NC-17's out there.

I really need to get to the A03 ones. Right now I've been rereading the ones from GoTeamCA and Lysa's site. NC-17 is my go to also.

I've barely been to GoTeamCA since the revamp. Looked good though from the one glance I got when replacing the Angel's Oasis links in my rec list.

Ashes Fall - I just recently noticed the revamp and it was what got me rereading. I think it's a much cleaner and smoother look now. More easy (for me anyway) to read the fics.

falling slowly - Do you just not care to or don't have the time? Or maybe just don't read for certain/most couples? I read a ton of fic but there are some couples (like Jake/Amy from B99 for example) that I love but don't really find myself wanting to read fic of them.

I used to be one to say the very same but Straws lured me into giving C/A fic the time of day and I became addicted.
I've found that it's a great void filler for the multitudes that the canon deprived us of.

I've read a few others of my OTPs and one other general fandom but strangely the former in cases that didn't turn up next to nothing, haven't done as much for me so far.

I've never found a great CA fic to really get me interested. I used to read tons of fic. If you have any recs please share I haven't read fic in years.

I'm getting some new C/A fanart ideas, after quite a dry period but I no longer have photoshop.
I was using a subscription paid for by my stepdad, it expired and he won't renew it.

I'm seriously leaning towards the $10 subscription that includes Photoshop but I need a new laptop and feel it makes more sense to wait until I get it to reinstall Photoshop with a new subscription.

That won't be an easy wait though.
Just had to vent that.
