I may have overlooked it, but it appears to me that this pair didn't have a home here on fanforum. Well, Lindsey gave Spike a place to stay so the pairing is getting one too. Why?

Because the Spike thread predicted it.
Because Lindsey knew just when to bring Spike a drink.
Because Spike lied...Lindsey is his type.
Because Lindsey is Spike's new best friend.
Because Lindsey made Spike corporeal again...(that a million fanfics should be born)
Because Lindsey is "powerfully interested" in Spike.
Because Spike thought he was being brought to Lindsey's house.
Because this could end up so badly. [img]smilies/mischief.gif[/img]

This is so cute! [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I'm still majorly confused about what Lindsey is doing and all. He seemed to be partnered with Eve in some sort of plot to kill Angel, but then all of the sudden he tells Spike about it, so that Spike can save Angel. So I don't get what Lindsey is trying to do, especially when he calls himself Doyle.

But maybe he and Spike will have lots of snarky fun until we figure out what's going on.

It would kinda work, cause even with a soul Spike still has an edge. Although I would have loved to have seen pre-Buffy-whipped Spike with evil(or whatever he is) Lindsey.
By the way, the tatoos on Lindsey, you can't see it, but I'm fanning myself.

Maybe it is because I feel like S5 Spike and S5 Lindsey are both watered down 'knock off' versions of themselves

I honestly loved Lindsey's exit in S2. His S5 arc didn't sit well with me. And I hate that he died.

And Spike is just not Spike without Buffy/BTVS.
