Ours are so close.

Angel: Kissing her meant nothing. I don’t want a bad girl. I’ve done that before. I’ve lived a long time Buffy, and I’m past that. I’ve been with dozens of girls like that, more.
Buffy: Oh this honesty stuff is fun.
Angel: There’s no comparison. In 243 years I’ve loved exactly 1 person.
Buffy: Oh. It is me right?

That's true. And there are characters that I am curious about just from what I've read in fanfiction so far - Lorne, Scruffy-Wesley, Anya.

Well, that's certainly never happened for me before, Ashley. I've never been a fan of a couple and then enjoyed them in other pairings, but, when I get to watch, I'll view the shows objectively.

I love, love, love them together. My first ever OTP. But yes, Lorelai/Rory do have the best relationship of the show. Well, when I am being unbiased about my Jess love

I always found it very easy to love all the Buffy couples

Joss was just good like that.

Hearthob was so good for BA, even though it was so sad, but all the things Angel said to Cordelia. Gosh, he loved her so much.

You know what detail I loved about Hearthrob? I loved Cordelia telling Angel that she missed Buffy too. For some reason, that has always stuck with me. I love how Cordelia picked Angel up in that episode and told him that he was honoring Buffy and what she meant to him by going on and by keeping fighting.

That's the first episode in S3 of Angel and it takes place after Angel finds out that Buffy has died. Basically the main theme in the episode is that Buffy has died and Angel didn't feel like dying too. He's upset by this but Cordy helps him realize that continuing to live and fight the good fight is honoring her memory.

And it's true because without Buffy, Angel would be still living on rats in back alleys.

It was episode 3x01, in 2x22 Angel had just found out that Buffy had died. And Angel went away for the entire summer to mourn. And he came back to LA and the entire episode, he was uneasy but still "living", and not completely depressed. And he was worried that he wasn't honoring Buffy but not being completely distraught. And Cordelia explained to him that he was actually honoring her by continuing to fight the good fight. And Angel and Cordelia had a really beautiful talk about how much Angel loved Buffy.

Angel: The woman I love is dead.
James: Who are you talking about?
Cordelia: It happened three months ago, we try not to say her name too much.

Angel: That I'm okay. That losing Buffy didn't kill me, that I could deal with it. In all those years no one ever mattered, not like she did. And now she's gone. Forever.

Angel: Yeah. And it feels like I'm betraying her somehow.
Cordelia: No. If you were a loser, if you were a sick obsessed vampire, you'd go to a snod demon or whatever and get your heart cut out. But you're not. You're a living, breathing -- well a living, anyway -- good guy who's still fighting and trying to help people. That's not betraying her, that's honoring her.
Angel: Ya' think?
Cordelia: I'm Cordelia, I don't think, I know. Okay?
Angel: Okay.
