Nope.

At first, I was pretty sure I didn't want to watch them either. I watched IWRY as soon as I finished the last episode of season 3, but, now, after discussing the rest of the seasons and AtS with other people, they've pretty much convinced that I need to watch, that, despite Angel and Buffy not actually being together, the shows make it very clear that they're still very much in love, that they're endgame, so to speak. Plus, I've been told that the rest of the show(s) are important to their maturing as individuals. It'll just be painful for me to see them with other people. Perhaps I'm looking at it the wrong way, but, for me, they, as a couple, come first before either individual character. It's my trademark, though. I tend to do that with almost every show I watch.

Anyway, back to the point... Hulu only has seasons 1-3 up, and I've given up the foreign websites, because I'm pretty sure they all have me blocked, and I'm also pretty sure that they gave my computer a nasty spyware program. I want to just buy both entire series on DVD so I can watch them when I want, but I'm not a very spontaneous shopper. In fact, I'm the exact opposite; I'm a penny pincher. Luckily, between talking to people online and reading tons of fanfic, I've pretty much pieced together all the important stuff from the other seasons... I think.

And Gilmore Girls is awesome! Again, though, I haven't watched the entire thing. I'm working my way through it slowly now, too, because I didn't start to watch until it was over on air. I'm part way through the fourth season, but, again, I kind of know what happens in the last three seasons as well.

I agree

Both shows are good about still maintaining the BA connection and love even with the distance. There are some not very good moments though, gotta warn you. But I think everything that happens, happens for a reason and it's all just a part of the BA story.

Well, I am going to recommend both shows entirely. I loved each and every season of both Buffy and Angel just because the writing is fantastic, the seasonal arcs are great, I love all the characters, and it's just awesome. And like Ash said, they do maintain the lovestory of Buffy/Angel very well. They get mentioned a good amount, and Angel comes back for 5 episodes in Buffy. But it is very clear throughout both series' that they love each other deeply, and are the love of each other's lives - in my opinion.

Who do you love in Gilmore Girls?

There's so much that happens in S4-7 on BTVS and S1-5 on ATS that it's worth it to watch for the characters.

And there are a lot of other relationships you may enjoy, like Willow/Tara? Or on Angel, Wesley/Fred? The storylines are worth it.

I couldn't live without certain episodes, even if they weren't the ones I watched all the time. If I had to buy one season over again, it would be S3 too Ash
