| beautyntragedy: a buffy/angel fanmix So beautiful, by Shauna  It's old but I love it.So I watched Halloween last night, and it felt so good to watch some Buffy. I haven't watch an episode in way too long - considering I used to watch two or three a week, sometimes a day. But yes, such a classic episode imo. Not only for Buffy/Angel, but for everything. I loved the little Oz/Willow thing at the end - "who is that girl?" and Cordelia was so funny in the episode. It was just so full of "Buffyisms". Now on to Buffy/Angel:  Buffy: Tada. Just little old 20th-century me. Angel: Sure you're okay? Buffy: I'll live. Angel: I don't get it, Buffy. Why'd you think I'd like you better dressed that way? Buffy: I just wanted to be a real girl for once. The kind of fancy girl you liked when you were my age. Angel: Oh, ho. Buffy: What? Angel: I hated the girls back then. Especially the noble women. Buffy: You did. Angel: They were just incredibly dull. Simpering morons, the lot of them. I always wished I could meet someone... exciting. Interesting. Buffy: Really? Interesting how? Angel: You know how. Buffy: Still, I had a really hard day. You should probably tell me. Angel: You're right. I should. Buffy: Definitely. Such a simple scene, but such a foundation for their entire relationship. And I still get giddy seeing Angel pick up Buffy when they are running away, so cute. __________________ The Gilmore Girls ♥ | |||

| I LOVE that animation. I love B/A in Halloween. Angel and Buffy trying to have their first official date and Buffy showing up late with straw and pumpkin juice in her hair from patrolling. Buffy's mission to read the Watchers Journals behind Giles' back in order to learn more about Angel and be the kind of girl he would want not realizing that she is already his perfect girl. Angel going to Buffy's house. Always love that. "What's up with your hair?" "I want to go with the man with the musket! Do you have a musket?" Angel getting scared that something bad would happen to NobleWoman Buffy because "Buffy could take care of herself. Whoever she is now, she's helpless" Angel picking up Buffy and carrying her to safety. So cute. Angel screaming Buffy's name and trying to fight off Spike's minions to save her. | I like your Closer icon. I loved that you could tell Buffy thought about Angel in All the Way. | I think that as the seasons wore on Xander got better at keeping his feelings in check. Either that or the fact that Angel was in a different city (and thus away from Buffy) made him more tolerant towards her having feelings for Angel. He would still let loose with his Angel-animosity though. In HLOD Willow had to tell him not to "make a fuss" out of Buffy sending the Gem of Amara to Angel. In Pangs it was obvious that Xander was not happy to see Angel in town. In The Yoko Factor, Riley picked up on Xander not being "a fan" of Angel. In Selfless Xander did not seem to feel any guilt for having been the reason Angel suffered in Hell for 100 years. I felt like the main reason that Xander eventually starting supporting Briley (Buffy/Riley) was because he began to see Riley as Mr. Awesome. If he had to lose Buffy to someone then he wanted it to be with someone he saw as better than himself. | Elite Fan | It felt as if Xander was more envious of Buffy and Angel's connection while he didn't seem to mind much about Buffy's connection with other men. Especially with regards to Riley. Not that he wasn't jealous but he seemed more secure with his role in Buffy's life through the good and the bad of S5-7. It's probably because they become closer as friends and seemed a bit farther from Willow. I would say that Xander seemed to respect Buffy's taste in the undead (even if he didn't like it) by S7. I'm not sure if it's because he and Spike had a sort of friendship while he never liked Angel. The annual IWRY Marathon has started today. That means 30 days of BA ficcage  I Will Remember You __________________
