Well obviously the first storyline I have to go with is the one when we see Ilyria share scenes with Gunn. She wants to kill him but she can't because of how strong Fred love for Gunn was that was not in her memories. I felt they both needed each other and they bonded because of that and that is something I would've definitely have loved to see on the series! And of course she became his guardian.

I loved the friendship that Spike and Illyria formed and we even got a kiss out of it! The Ilyria/Spike stuff is what happens directly after the Angel season 5 series finale.

^ The comics were awesome, I just didn't read through all of them but I loved most of them that I read. I loved that Spike actually got Illyria to ask him for help as well! lol

^ Oh it definitely was! I love how Illyria was really just trying to adjust to having 2 sets of memories. lol It had to be confusing for her to know how to feel.

Did that get into that a lot? It sounds like an interesting concept, but I would have wanted them to really explore what that meant

Yep, it's how her and Gunn started bonding as I explained on the Gunn/Fred thread.

She was like his angel during his dark times and she explained how strongly Fred loved him which is what was affecting Illyria's feelings for him.

Spike was the one she went to when she needed help for a mission or something.
Angel was the one she talked to with help on these memories. lol

I liked it because it wasn't just Wesley like it mainly was during season 5... unfortunately Wes is dead in the comics which probably contributed to that.

^ In the ones I read, he only appears in flashbacks but I think Wes was the one to remain dead... but I didn't read every Angel comic so I can be wrong but if I am going on what I read, I don't remember any with him being alive.
