Yes! Buffy knew she might not make it out and she was trusting Giles with her mom’s life

It is pretty underrated, but there's really not many people that she would trust in that way

Every time I think about his speech to Buffy’s grave in Nightmare’s it makes me I think that really was our first real glance on how much Buffy actually meant to Giles
