It's a complicated situation tbh. Willow thought that she was acting on Buffy's behalf at the start of the season, and it led to a situation that was the exact opposite of what she had expected.

Yes, that was when I fell more in love with Oz. He was amazing in that episode.

Me too, he was always so sweet to her & he didn't cover up his feelings for her at all. She didn't have to guess what he was thinking or feeling

Plus, I loved the effort he went to as her Prom date. Social gatherings weren't really his thing, beyond Dingoes Ate My Baby gigs, & School wasn't his thing either
