Yeah, it would be kind of fascinating, wouldnt it?I love the Fanged Four family Everything to do with their internal dynamic is great And I can imagine Angel getting right uncomfortable, if he was ever in that situation, of having to surprisingly find Spike and Dru while out patroling with Buffy or something, and have to explain everything about how he knew them. Judged by how Spike greeted him in SH there is no doubt that he would have made it clear that they knew each others anyhow And then Buffy would have to face the possible qualms of whether or not to try to stake Angel's family members.

I'm not sure he would be happy to introduce his "family" to Buffy. I mean even in School Hard he didn't really introduce them as his family. Just that Spike was bad. He's ashamed of his Angelus past so I'm not sure he would have any hard feelings if Buffy did stake Dru and Spike. Especially since he staked his own sire for Buffy. But I would have liked to see them stumble upon each other just to see Buffy's face when Spike asks if he's just doing an Anne Rice routine or whatever.

Well he did tell Drusilla to get herself and Spike out of town so I think he has some feelings to them staying alive. And he didn't particulary want Darla dead at first either.

Sara!

True Nika, but in the end she threatened Buffy and apparently she was all that mattered so if Dru and Spike did that too I don't think he would have cared if she staked them. I mean heck he might even do that to protect her.

I dont either think that Angel would be very eager to introduce them, but I think Spike might take care of that At least smile warmly, hug him, and refer to him as his sire, like he did in SH. Angel would have some trouble explaining that away

And I dont think he would have preferred them to Buffy, not by a far shot, but I think he would have been not all too eager to let her stake them either. He clearly felt somewhat responsible at least for Dru, and there is also that little scene in LW where Spike whines "I wish I were dead" And Buffy replies "well, if you close your eyes and wish real hard", before she raises her stake arm. Then Angel is there instantly to grab her arm and hold her back. He does not want Spike to have his wish

I don't think Angel would ever really stake Spike. I think he feels responsible for both him and Dru. Just like Buffy can't really make herself do it either, despite countless perfect oppurtunities.

he wouldnt. When we see Spangel interact, it is nearly always Spike that is the agressive party. Angel would never really want to hurt him.

We all know Spike is probably the safest vampire you can get if he has the right people, especially if we're only counting them by their personalities without a soul.

Buffy would never stake Spike. I mean she couldn't in S7 and he was still killing people. Granted it wasn't really his fault he was killing but still. She knew he was a danger but couldn't bring herself to kill him. She wanted to prove it wasn't him. But with Dru... I don't think she would care. Unless Spike pleaded with her to spare Dru's life I don't think she would have a problem staking her. I could see Angel staking Dru but not really Spike. His connection to Spike was much more powerful even though he didn't sire Spike.

I don't think Angel could bring himself to stake Drusilla. Buffy yeah, but I'm not so sure about Angel.

I dont think he could either. We see in Lie To Me how deeply responsible for her he feels. And they also have too much history. They are family. He really didnt want to stake Darla either, and only did it when she was about to kill Buffy. I think that is the only circumstance under which he would ever consider staking Dru as well.

As to S 2 spuffy I could actually see them killing each others. Up intill their truce in Becoming, at least.

I agree, Angel wouldn't stake Dru except in dire circumstances. Spike is more likely to stake her, as we saw in season 5. I'm glad he didn't though, God knows it would have contributed a little too much to Buffy's trust issues with him.

I think he would stake Dru if Buffy was being threatened. Like sh was about to die. Spike did say he would stake Dru for Buffy but I'm not really sure he would have done it. For some reason I feel like he was just doing that to prove that he loved her but I can't imagine what he would have felt if he were to actually kill Dru.

Why would it have contributed to Buffy's trust issues with him? Wouldn't that prove how devoted he was to Buffy?

Yes, it would. It would, however, also show her that he was willing to kill a woman who he was devoted to for over a hundred years. If he just turned on her like that, I think Buffy would find it hard to keep from imagining he would do the same to her.
