I can't say that I love other shows as much as Btvs but these are my current tv-obsessions...

1) ALIAS
2) Gilmore Girls
3) Desperate Housewives
4) Lost
5) One tree hill

The main reason I started watching Alias was because it was a lot like Btvs in the beginning: a powerful girl fighting the bad guys, who can be good guys sometimes. Also, there's the twisted Btvs-like humor and witty dialogues.

I love Gilmore Girls because they're *crazy*. Their humor is completely different but still very interestng. They're special.

I'm not that obsessed with Lost and DH... I watch them mainly because of two hot girls: Evangeline Lilly and Eva Longoria. I prefer DH because the story is better. Lost is good but it can be very confusing at times.

OTH is like a Dawson's Creek replacement... DC used to be one of my fave shows but certain people (P/J fans) ruined my DC love. I've decided not to make the same mistake with OTH so I've learned to like all couples and pairings. I don't have a main couple like I did in DC so it's much easier to watch and enjoy.

I still watch Buffy because we still have it. But usual I watch Buffy tapes.

From 'new' shows: CSI, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Alias, JoA...

Do you like what you watch more than BtVS?

Absolutely not! The only show that got close to Buffy is The X-Files.

In which ways do they compare with BtVS as a reason why you like them?

I don't compare them with Buffy. Every one of those shows are simply there to entertain me, and they are all different than Buffy. Except for Alias 'cause it has that strong-heroine thing going on. Eye candy doesn't hurt either

I'm a little obssesed with Gilmore Girls and Joan of Arcadia lately. I love it for some similar reasons than BTVS: well written, strong and independants female characters, beautiful and touching love story, fun, touching, sad sometimes... Plus a lot of ex BTVS 's writers and producers work on GG now

I love it but I like Buffy more.

They are 2 totally different shows but I love them both because of the humor and cast. (just some reasons).

I don't watch that much dramas anymore. All my fav shows are finished, Buffy, Dawson's AND Friends
I watch soaps and bits and bobs.

Now that BtVS is over, I watch One Tree Hill, Everwood, Smallville, and The OC.

I don't think I'll ever like another show as much as I like BtVS... seriously, BtVS is the show others get compared to for me.

I like them for the drama, they're just as dramatic as BtVS, y'know, just in a different way. I think BtVS was more original.

What do you watch now that BtVS is over?
Well, I watched Smallville before I ever got into Buffy..so I still watch that. Other than that, Angel reruns of course, Buffy reruns...and I got into Roswell when they started showing it on Sci-fi (which surpassed Smallville very quickly).

Never going to happen, ever.

In which ways do they compare with BtVS as a reason why you like them?
Eh, I don't really watch shows like this for the drama no matter how much I get into it. Not a drama person..I like the supernatural/scif-fi aspects of the shows because that's just what interests me. Other than that there's no real trend, I jsut look for decent writing and a storyline that seems appealing enough to watch. Really I think Smallville and Roswell seem flat compared to Buffy and Angel...

No not more. Buffy and Angel were 2 of my fave shows. Some shows I like a lot too, but differently. I don't think any show will ever compare to Btvs.

In which ways do they compare with BtVS as a reason why you like them?

They really don't compare I think. I guess Smallville sometimes because it has the intrigue as suspense aspect that I think btvs had. They both alway keep me wanting more, and they both leave me speechless sometimes. Lots of twists and turns. But they are so different, I love them both though.

I watch reruns of Angel because I havn't seen all of 1, 2, & 3, and Charmed.

I like them all for different reasons. So I can't say that I like BtVS more than them, or Charmed and Angel more than BtVS.

I like One Tree Hill cause it has alot of drama and it has Brooke and Lucas! I also like Tru Calling cause it is very heart pumping and exciting! I loved Buffy cause of Buffy and Angel!

I don't think I'll ever be as into a show as BtVS. Shows that came very close... Hill Street Blues, Beauty and The Beast, China Beach, and The X-Files. Maybe also Quantum Leap. (Oh, and don't tell - also The X-Men.)

My favorite shows that I watch now that BtVS is over (or still watch)...

Lost, Law & Order SVU, Gilmore Girls, Stargate SG1, and Crossing Jordan.

I think one of the main reasons I watch these - which in a way is similar to one of the main reasons I watched Buffy and my other favorite shows above - is the characters. I like interesting characters. I also enjoy a strong female character (though it isn't necessary), but I enjoy them being a little flawed or unusual. I like Sam in Stargate and Jordan in Crossing Jordan, but both shows also have interesting other characters as well: Jack (Hee - I love Jack), Daniel, Teal'C, and Dr. Frasier (sniff) in Stargate and Bug (he's almost like a male me - heh), Nigel, Macy, Woody, and Lilly in Crossing Jordan.

Oh, and one other show that I loved (and the only other show besides Buffy that I taped episodes of), but doesn't quite fit... Mystery Science Theater 3000.
