I understood that the writers wanted Faith to be unlike Buffy like Kendra was but at some point they made her unredeemable. I have read they were intending on killing Faith off but decided against it.
Eliza portrayed the character well and would have loved to have seen a Faith the Vampire Slayer spinoff but I understand that Eliza wanted to try other things. |
