| Quite frankly, Buffy deserved what she got. Running away and leaving your friends to fight evil isnt right. | |||

| I thought this episode was ok, I'm not a big fan of Season 3, But giles rocked in this episode, He was good in the earlier years, I felt sorry for Buffy, she must of felt akward at the party, When joyce was shouting at Buffy. I kind of agreed with her, It must of been hard for her worrying about Buffy, overall it was a ok episode. __________________ Nida Proud B/Ser LJ/icon by Icon Credit | |||

| Not a huge fan of this ep either. I felt they were being too harsh on Buffy, selfishly. Did like some of the lines though, such as this one that was posted: Quote:

| I don't think Buffy deserved to treated the way her friends and mom treated her. They should have been more supportive. __________________ JENNIFER ![]() | |||

| I have to agree. Buffy's friends and family were way too hard on her. Her mother finds out her deepest, darkest secret and isn't supportive. Instead, tells her not to come back if she walks out the door. She got kicked out of school. She had to kill the demon that had taken over the love of her life's body, and it turned out that in the end she had to kill the man she actually loved since his soul was returned. And it looked to her like her friends were both for her killin said love of her life. It seemed like her whole world was falling apart and she didn't have any support base anywhere. And I know it seemed like Buffy was more adult than most people, and she was, but she was still just a teenager and they aren't always known for their wise decisions. She made the only choice that seemed logical to her at the time. But she did come back because she knew she couldn't run forever, and if her friends and family felt the need to berate her they should have at least waited to do it in private. Just my two cents. ![]() ~Dani __________________ Youth fades, but immaturity lasts a lifetime. | |||

| It was a decent episode. Not the very best in the world, but it had some enjoyable parts. Like the zombies. That was cool. The beginning, when the cat came back to life, reminded me of Pet Semetary. In a way, I can see why the Scoobies were so ticked off at her. She did take off, with no word, leaving them wondering whether or not she was okay. At the time, they had no clue that she had to kill Angel. But they could have been more understanding when she did return home and they found out what happened. It has always bothered me that Xander didn't tell Buffy what Willow truly said. He always hated and was jealous of Angel. | |||

| It always bothered me too that he never told her the truth about what Willow said. She didn't even find out til 7th season, and even then he didn't tell her, Willow just said something like, "Hey! I didn't say that." But then again, the green-eyed monster makes people act irrationaly. ~Dani __________________ Youth fades, but immaturity lasts a lifetime. | |||

| One comment admits this discussion. Nicky was fantastic in this episode! He acted wonderfully, and I love all of the car bits. And one more comment: Buffy did not deserve what the gang was dishing out. The poor girl had been through hell... Yeah, it's not funny... but it's true.__________________ ANDREW: I bet even covert operatives eat curly fries. | Hey. I liked this episode. I remember getting really annoyed at the Scoobies for the way they treated Buffy. I understand being somewhat annoyed because they cannot fight on their own, but they really should have been more considerate to her feelings. She went through sooo much. She thought she lost it all. I felt really bad for her at the end of Season 2. Overall I did like the episode though. It was a good early season ep, action wise, but it had a lot of feelings involved as well. Plus Season 3 is one of my faves. ![]() __________________ *Christie* buffy.angel.roswell.smallville.heroes.supernatural.dark angel.charmed.firefly.fringe.veronica mars.bones.dawson's creek.one tree hill.the oc.BH90210.gossip girl.90210.felicity.gilmore girls.american dreams.everwood.that70sShow.friends.avonlea.october road | |||

| Giles: Unbelievable. (mocks Joyce) 'Do you like my mask? Isn't it pretty? It raises the *dead*!' Americans. That's such a funny line, and how he says it, it's wonderfull The rest of the episode is oké, but the more i watch it, the more those zombies start enoying me. __________________ ~*~ Love is not love which alters, when an alteration finds.
