It's probably only a few months

That is, if you go with the season being a year, which is usually how it works

But I think that Buffy and Angel both kept a similar time-frame for everything. The crossovers in the earlier seasons are proof of that

We know for a fact that "Pangs" in Season 4 is on Thanksgiving, and so that means that "I Will Remember You" is the date after most likely.
