It was a show about a vampire though, it would have felt really lazy from the writers if they made it so that he could go out in the daylight & couldn't be killed. Would have really messed with the vibe of the show imo.

There's so many what if's that you could think about when it comes to the ring, it's the same as when he was turned human in 1x08, but Angel knew his place & his purpose & that's what he was sticking to.
