I've just finished reading Double or Nothing, one of the fics that Straws recommended a few pages back and oh my god!

From the time Cordelia send Angel away on her last night with him and Angelus to the end of the night filled my eyes with tears that just barely hung on to the edges but then when New!Angel comforts Cordelia in the shower and says the most beautiful line:

"I can't bring them back Cordelia, but I promise I'll do my best to love and protect you. I don't know what the Moirae have planned for me but I want you by my side. Always" I mother effing lost it! And I don't even like New!Angel conceptually. I was with Cordelia, I wanted the twins back.

I've cried at many movies and television shows but I've never read anything that has made me cry.

There was too much required A/B for me but this fic is a worthy read in spite of it!
New!Angel naturally grew on me, by the end he even feels almost like original!Angel.
